Cruising through life. Though I knew a transplant was on the horizon, I refused to harp on it and stay static. My best friend Erik and I vacationed in Las Vegas in the spring of 1999. Here, we are cruising through a southern California desert on our way to the Joshua Tree National Monument.
Throughout this ordeal, I have maintained an extremely active lifestyle. That, along with a positive attitude, has really helped me deal with what is happening.
