SITE GOALS When this began, I turned to the Internet for information. I knew little of renal disease, dialysis or the transplant process and was determined to learn as much as I could about my condition and what I could expect. There is a wealth of information available on the Web -- statistics, definitions, charts and graphs. What was missing, though, was a detailed, step-by-step journal of the process from one person's point of view. I tell stories through pictures as a living. This was an excellent opportunity to turn the camera around. I hope that through this site, I can demystify dialysis and the kidney transplant process for patients and their families. DISCLAIMER This site contains information regarding one person, with one disease, following one course of treatment. It is by no means meant to be the sole source of information regarding kidney disorders. Physicians are the best source of information about an individual's medical condition.
