Erik and Miranda, along with the rest of my family, joined me for my last dialysis treatment.
I got to celebrate the end of dialysis twice -- once with my last day at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, and again with my final dialysis session the morning before my transplant at Northwestern.
